How do I make a booking?
You can make a booking through our website, by phone at 0704 594599, via email, or through our WhatsApp. A 50% deposit is required to confirm most bookings, with the balance due on pickup.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept M-Pesa (for Kenyan residents), bank transfers, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and cash payments at our offices. For international clients, we recommend bank transfer or credit card.
Can I modify or cancel my booking?
Yes, you can modify or cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your service starts. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee equal to one day's rental. For safari packages, please refer to our cancellation policy.
Do you require a security deposit?
For car hire, we require a security deposit of KES 20,000 - 50,000 depending on the vehicle. This is refunded upon return of the vehicle in the same condition. The deposit can be in cash or a credit card hold.
What documents do I need to rent a car in Kenya?
You need a valid driver's license from your country of origin. International visitors should have an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their national license. You also need your passport and a credit card for the security deposit.
What is the minimum age for renting a car?
The minimum age is 23 years, and drivers must have held their license for at least 2 years. Young driver surcharges may apply for drivers under 25.
Do you offer one-way rentals?
Yes, we offer one-way rentals between major cities (Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret). A relocation fee may apply. Please contact us for specific routes and pricing.
What is your fuel policy?
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank. Alternatively, we can refuel for you at current fuel prices plus a service fee.
What insurance coverage do you provide?
All rentals include comprehensive insurance with a deductible (excess) of KES 50,000 - 100,000 depending on the vehicle. Reduced excess options are available at an additional cost. Third-party liability is included.
Can I hire a car with a driver?
Yes, we offer chauffeur-driven vehicles. Our drivers are professional, English-speaking, and knowledgeable about local routes. Driver rates start from KES 2,000 per day plus accommodation and meals for multi-day trips.
What is included in safari package prices?
Our safari packages typically include park entry fees, accommodation (full board), transport in a safari vehicle, services of a professional guide, game drives as specified, and bottled water. International flights, visas, tips, and personal expenses are not included.
What is the best time to go on safari?
The best time for wildlife viewing is during the dry seasons: June to October and January to February. The Great Migration in Masai Mara peaks from July to October. However, Kenya offers great game viewing year-round.
What type of vehicles do you use for safaris?
We use specially modified 4x4 safari vehicles with pop-up roofs for excellent game viewing. Options include Toyota Land Cruisers, Land Cruiser Prados, and Safari Vans. All vehicles are well-maintained and equipped with HF radios for communication.
Are your guides qualified?
Yes, all our guides are KPSGA (Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association) certified, with years of experience. They are knowledgeable about wildlife, birdlife, and local culture.
Can I customize a safari package?
Absolutely! We specialize in custom itineraries. Tell us your preferences, budget, and timeline, and we'll create the perfect safari for you.
How do I find my driver at the airport?
Your driver will be waiting at the arrivals area holding a sign with your name. They will track your flight to ensure they're there even if your flight is delayed.
What if my flight is delayed?
No problem! We monitor all flights in real-time and adjust pickup times accordingly. There are no extra charges for flight delays.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, child seats are available on request at no additional cost. Please inform us at the time of booking.
Is it safe to drive in Kenya?
Yes, driving in Kenya is generally safe, especially on major highways. We recommend avoiding night driving outside cities. Our vehicles are well-maintained and we provide 24/7 roadside assistance.
Do I need a 4x4 for safaris?
For Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo, and most parks, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season. However, safari vans are suitable for most parks during dry conditions.
What side of the road do you drive on?
In Kenya, we drive on the LEFT side of the road, with the steering wheel on the right side of the vehicle.
What is your mileage policy?
Most rentals include 200km per day free. Additional kilometers are charged at KES 20-50 per km depending on the vehicle. Unlimited mileage options are available for an additional fee.
Do you allow cross-border travel?
Yes, we allow travel to Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda with prior arrangement. Additional documentation and insurance may be required. Cross-border fees apply.
What happens in case of breakdown?
We provide 24/7 roadside assistance. In case of breakdown, call our emergency number and we'll send assistance immediately. If the vehicle cannot be repaired quickly, we'll arrange a replacement.
